Clovernook Center facilitates year-round activities and summer camp experiences for youth ages 4-25 who are blind, visually impaired, or physically or intellectually disabled. We use fun and engaging learning activities to help each child develop their full potential.

Clovernook Camps

Summer day camps include community adventures like swimming, bowling, family involvement, and more; opportunities to learn about technology available for the blind and visually impaired; lessons to develop skills for daily living to promote independence; creative arts; and orientation and mobility. Summer camp sessions include:

  • Pre-school (ages 4-6)
    9 a.m. – noon, June 3-7
  • Junior Camp (ages 7-12)
    9 a.m. – 3 p.m., June 10 -14
  • Senior Camp (ages 13-25)
    9 a.m. – 3 p.m., June 17-21
  • Sports Camp (ages 7-12), includes a focus on adaptive sports
    9 a.m. – 3 p.m., June 24-28

NEW! This year students from Junior and Senior campers are able to participate in a Camp Joy summer overnight program! Junior camp overnight is scheduled for June 13-14; Senior Camp is scheduled for June 20-21.

Transportation options are available for all campers.

Camp Fees

The cost for the 1-week summer camp is $100 and $50 for siblings. Camp Joy overnight program is an additional cost of $173 per participant.

All outings will be held on Thursdays. Camp fee does not cover outside activities charge. No deposit is required. Please make checks payable to: Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. To pay by credit card, please call: Dee Sunderman at 513-728-6224.
